Greeting to Meek Records! “Good Gospel Music All The Time”
I’m Maple Reddick. This website is provided to bring inspiration and information on the past, present and future Gospel Artist. Interviews of Gospel Artist will be one of our highlights.
Back in the day will be section that will have a message from one of the Gospel Legends. Artists on the Meek Records Label will also be featured.
I was born in Indianola Mississippi in a little white shotgun house on Church Street to the proud parent of Pearlie and Peter Hardy.
At the age of seven years old I fell in love with Mahalia Jackson and wanted to sing just like her knowing that I couldn’t hold a note.
I obtained a Bachelors of Arts degree in Marketing, a general Bachelor Degree, and a Bachelors of Arts degree in Fashion Merchandising and Clothing Textiles.
My first job was as a private secretary to a Bishop. For over Twenty years I managed Chicago Currency Exchanges. I was the first Black Home Economist for Minnesota Fabrics Textiles Co. I’m an Entrepreneur for 26 years in retail business as Pentecostal Word Explosion.
I’m also an Executive Producer and creator of a 5 star Internet Radio Show wssdlive.com. I’m a Broadcast host for WSSD Radio.
15 years ago I became a Female Record Company Executive (Meek Records) and recorded 21 successful award winning CD’s.
My Family is the joy of my life I’m the mother of three children, grandmother of five and the great-grandmother of two.
I love all genre of music blues, jazz, R&R, Clean Rap and Reggae but of course traditional Gospel is my favorite. Quartets are a spice of life for me with that foot-stomping and downhome sounds.
My favorite Movie is the 23 Psalms that features 18 artist from the Meek Record Label.
I plan to continue making baby and giant steps in the Gospel Music Industry. It’s been a long hard Struggle but to God Be the Glory, I made it. My Life has been Wonderful with many adventures and travels.
